Cyst On My Finger, Bleeding, Low Grade Fever. On Bacitracin. What Is The Reason Of Fever?
I've had a small cyst on my pinky finger for a few months. It opens up and bleeds often.
I've soaked it, put bacitracin on it, the doctor put me on antibiotics but it's still there.
It's small but ugly. Looks like an ugly wort, raised, and nothing seems to get rid of it.
My finger is starting to pain me and I run a low grade fever. I'm getting worried that
it may be something more then just a wort. Any ideas?
Hello.Cysts (in different locations of the body) can become infected.
In your case, the cyst is infected. It is now necessary to apply antibiotic on your finger but also taking antibiotic by mouth ,and after curing the infection, you should go to the surgeon to remove the cyst.I treat my patients with Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day, 7 days when infected quist is the diagnosis.
Please consult your local doctor for a prescription.I wish you good health.
