Cystitis, Severe Pain. Any Treatment?
I have intersticial cystitis and get frequent uti's. I am 43 and did not learn until I was diagnosed with the cystitis in 2008 that I did not urinate from the underside of my clitoris. The medical reason is because the Dr had to show me how to catheradize myself so I could deliver recur medications three times a week and I got a real quick shocking anatomy lesson! The physical reason is because when I urinate it feels like its coming out of my clitoris and at other times it just throbs with pain

Urethral opening is situated in introitus just below the clitoris, i hope from the description given by you the clitoris is normal in location. If you get used to clean intermittent self catheterization in long run it will not be of much concern.
