Daily Headaches. Living In A Highly Stress Family Situation. Taking Depovera From Past One Year. Is The Medication Causing Headaches?
I'm inquiring on behalf of my 17 yr old grandaughter. She has be taking depovera for 1-1/2 yrs. she has experienced
near daily headaches since shortly after starting. She does live in a very high stress family situation, she is 5' tall,
110 # doesn't smoke cigarettes, I believe she doesn't drink or do drugs. She has a 20-25 hr./wk job hostessing in a
restaurant has be on honor roll since starting high school and plans to go to college after graduating this June. She
did see a chiropractor and had several treatments and initially thought maybe it helped but now feels the treatments
are causing more tightness in her neck and shoulders. She would like to know if the meds could be causing the
headaches and what kind of physician she should see about the problem.

It is not mentioned here for what she is taking "depovera" without any obvious indication taking this drug is not at all good for health particularly for teen age and this must be the first cause of her over all health problem she need to stop this drug otherwise she will have to pay still more in later life and the consequences would be bad, as a doctor I could say that such drug is not advisable in such tender age, I hope you can understand it have great day.
