Hi, i was having regular sex with a guy and didnt skip any periods so i knew i got them.. we stoped having sex about 13 weeks ago cause we broke up, i got my period like normal, then decided to skip the last 2 months because i wasnt having sex with anyone at all.. except im due for my period next week and ive noticed ive had a bit of blotching, its dark brown like old blood

The mild brownish discharge one or two days before the beginning of the periods is an absolutely normal finding. There is no need to worry. This spotting will gradually increase to a full flow of the periods.
