Skinlite cream is a combination of hydroquinone ,tretinoin n mometasone. These type of comb r good it give u relief in few days but in long term it produce many side effect like rebound pigmentation,milia ,acneform eruption n atrophy of skin.So my advice is that u gradually taper this combination like initially every alternate day than twice weekly thn once weekly n than stop.U starts apply glycolic acid cream [12%]dailyat bed time .Orally take betacarotene n lycopene cap dailly for 3 mths than twice weekly for long term. Firstly it is important to know what is causing those dark spots. It could be post inflammatoryhyperpigmentation, lichen planus , freckles, lentigines, melasma etc. Skinlite can't be used for every dark spot. Its better to consult a dermatologist first prior to using skinlite.
As far as skinlite is concerned, it has to be used only in night in very small amount. If any redness or irritation occurs then it has to be stopped.
As its a strong cream we do not prescribe use beyond a month without proper follow up and guidance.
If your dark spots reduce with the same, you may use a milder kojic acid, vitsmin c or arbutin based cream as maintenance.
