Decreased Energy Levels, Exhausted, Hair Growth In Jawline, Gained Weight, Irregular Period. Why Has This Happened?

I am 22 yr. old female, I always was an active, energetic child, & always very skinny. About 2 years ago, I noticed that my energy levels decreased, I became exhausted more frequently, & started having hair growth on my jaw-line, gained 20 pounds (despite getting 30-45 minutes of runnng or walking in & maintaining 1000-1200 calorie diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains & meat). I now have irregular periods, hair growth on my jaw, and have continued gaining weight despite running 4 miles & weight training 4-5 days a week. I overhwhelmed becasue I don't feel myself; I went to the doctor and he tested me for hypothyroidism, which I was tested negatively for. I am tired of being told I am healthy! I want to have energy and fit into my clothes again! Do you have any suggestions to whom I should see in the field of doctors? Or what I may have?
Thank you for your time and helpfulness!

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

You once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound.
By this the possible causes for your problem like poly cystic disease of ovary etc can be made out.
PCOD presents with irregular periods, anovulation, hirsutism etc.
So by doing ultrasound this possibility can be rule out.
If your doctor suggests you can go for hormonal profile including estrogen, progesterone, FSH, LH, testosterone levels.
These help in pointing out the problem.
