my daughter had a fall on March 7th and ended up with a neck injury (sprained neck) and concussion. Had a MRI last Thursday and it was clear except for C5_C6 degenerative disk disease. Today she has pain and numbness in hand and lower limbs. can get off the floor, due to legs having heaviness and pain. her feet our cold.
Hello, Thanks for writing in. The MRI findings of degenerative disc disease C5 C6 is undertandable. You have not mentioned the age of your daughter. However pain and numbness in hand and lower limbs must be investicagted by a neurologist. This could be the result of injury itself or any other pathology like infection. Please take her to yout nearest hospital aand get her examined by your neurologist at earliest. Please take along MRI scan and report, it will be helpful on advisingthe further treatment. Hope this helps.
