Delay In Period. Taking Mtone Tablets And Syrin. Which Of These Are Safest?

Hi, I am 46 years old, and i am having delay in periods, last month it did not come much, although i was taking M2tone tablets for delay in periods, please advice me if sysron n tablets are good for me,
also please suggest me which medicine i should take to prevent myselves from pregnancy, which medicine would be the safest for me according to my age of 46 years old.

M2 tone is an ayurvedic tablet and as far as known to me this is used for irregularities in bleeding.
Also uses in dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
Delay in period in your case may be due to .
1 Perimenopausal syndrome , diagnosis can be confirmed by evaluation of estrogen , ( estradiol ) hormones , ultrasound of ovaries ( as ovaries atrophied in this age ).
2 Fibroid in uterus , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of uterus.
For you best contraceptive pills are combination of neoethisterone+estrogen according to age, available as an OTC product.
