Delayed Periods. Dark Pink Reddish Spots, Feeling Fatigue, Slightly Sore Nipples, Emotions Haywire. Implantation Bleeding? Pregnant?
Hi everyone! So I'm a little confused and I need HELP!! I was 28 days late on my period. I keep track of every period I have with my period days. (Tells ovulation, fertility, etc.) I'm not taking bc anymore. I stopped in November but had a regular period ever since. I was supposed to have my period the 19th of March. It's almost a month later and nothing was happening....until yesterday. I started to have these minor little cramps in my abdomen and lower back Saturday night but they didn't last very long. Maybe a minute or less. Sunday morning we went to church & afterwards to eat. While we were eating, I started to notice the little cramps again. It was very odd to me because I never have cramps before my period, it's usually during. Yesterday, the cramping came back so I googled it. It said possible implantation bleeding. When I went to the bathroom, I was bleeding but it wasn't spots nor was it heavy. It was very dark pink & bright reddish unlike my period blood which is usually dark red & clotted. Throughout the day yesterday, it got kinda heavier. My period usually doesn't start out slow. It hits me all at one time. This morning, I went back to the bathroom & it had gotten just a little bit heavier but it's still a bright red. I've taken 7 pregnancy tests throughout these almost 4 weeks and they all say negative. I haven't really had any kind of symptom like morning sickness or heightened sense of smell. My symptoms are more along the lines of fatigue, increase in appetite, slightly sore nipples, emotions haywire, things like that. I can't go to the doctor because I don't have my new insurance card yet. I've read that some women didn't get a positive on their HPT until they were 3 & 4 months pregnant. I have a feeling I am but I'm not sure if I really am or if I've just psyched myself up to think I am. Can anyone please help?

The chances of pregnancy have always been there with unprotected sex.
In your case chances of pregnancy are less but still be there because your urine pregnancy test is negative.
You can go for blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy and consult a gynaecologist with your reports.

I have gone through your query, and am extremely happy you have mentioned everything in detail, but have missed out one very important point. Your sexual status. When did you last have sexual intercourse, was it protected or unprotected?
As you have had regular periods for quite sometime now, the appearance of an irregular one is indeed surprising. This could be due to the following reasons:
-Pregnancy (which can be ruled out by a home pregnancy test [which as you mentioned might not be accurate, but only if not conducted properly]. You could go about a home pregnancy test by taking it at least 2 weeks from the date of conception or last sexual contact, or on or after the first day of a missed period. But please make sure you do so using an early morning urine sample this time, as it would yield a most accurate result)
-Infections: Are one of the most common causes of delayed periods, and also are accompanied by lower abdominal pains and cramps. Let me list few of the other most common symptoms of infections for your reference:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)
-Vaginal discharge
-Painful intercourse
Although not all symptoms need to be present. In such a situation as you are in, your symptoms could be related to pregnancy, which you will have to rule out either by a few home pregnancy tests or by visiting a doctor. Or give your urine for analysis to a laboratory and write back to me with the results, which I will interpret and confirm/rule out the infection; or lastly expect a period (which can cause such symptoms). If the bleed was indeed an implantation bleed, it should not last for more than 24-48 hours (this is the maximum, and is rarely seen for this long).
