Hello,
Firstly, the cause of the absence of a menstrual period for so long should be understood. It could be some hormonal imbalance or premature ovarian failure. You should get a complete hormonal profile, sonogram, local examination, pregnancy test and urinalysis. After evaluation, if induction of a period is deemed possible, you may be given hormones to induce a withdrawal bleeding and this could be maintained through the use of pills for some time until spontaneous correction occurs. Please maintain a healthy weight, some regular exercise and healthy diet. Take care.
