Depressed, Irritated By Sound, Tiredness And Pain On Back Of Head. Taking Aten-D. Started Tryptomer. Solution?
Hello Doctor, i am suffering from depression since one month.. i get irritate to sound, traffic, waiting, etc. i get exhausted when i talk continuously for more then 15 minites. i get tired feelling when i get exert.sometimes i feeling mild pain on the back of my head. i am also mild hypertension. i am taking aten-D 25mg. in the morning. i had this depression and hypertension about 6 years back. but my depression was gone after one year. now some thing has triggered and i am again into depression. Now from today onwards i have started with tryptomer-10mg one tablet per day. please advise. Regards Naveed Khan
I understand your concern. I wonder if you are having a form of bipolar called type II from your history. I also wonder if you are being adequately treated for hypertension. I also feel that they are both related and that treating one would be good for the other as well. I believe there are other antidepressants that you have to have tried before going for tryptomer as it is not first line medication for depression. First line is SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). I hope you consult a psychiatrist before you make any changes to your medications. Take care and have a lovely day!
