Hi,

Welcome to HCM.
Anal pruritus may be due to either of these following problems:
1. Worm infestation - More nocturnal itching
2. Yeast infection
3. Ordinary superficial fungus infection
4. intertrigo with or without yeast infection
5.Eczema

The present treatment taken by you would be sufficient if it is due to Yeast or fungal infection.
If it is due to intertrigo or eczema a steroid cream may be necessary to alleviate your problem.
A motion examination will either confirm or rule out worm infestation and the treatment for intestinal worms has to be given if it is a worm infestation. Then you will be alright. Similarly yeast and fungal infection can be confirmed with simple laboratory investigation.
If you consult a Dermatologist he/she will be able to help you further. Dr S.Murugan
