Developed Balanitis After Sex, Flu Like Symptoms Later, Now Sore Throat. Negative On Elisa. ARS ?
Hello and thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
On july 27th I had unprotected vaginal sex with a woman of unkown status for about 10 to 15 minutes. A few days later I developed Balanitis a condition I have suffered from before due to my foreskin was given antibiotics and it went away,
On Aug 24th i started feeling a strange flu , body pains , sore throat , hot feelings etc , was given more antibiotics the systems did not subside and my fatigue , sore throat were not getting any lighter. I may have had fever for a few days . I decided to get an Elisa p24 4th gen test which came back non reactive .
The symptoms have not subsided i have often felt dizzy , hot flashes , weak and with a sore throat over the last 14 days,
I took another elisa p24 4th gen test and it came back negative it was day 41 close to 6 weeks.,
Today my doctor saw me again and said my tonsils in the back of my throat are covered with pus and put me on new antibiotics.
Could this be ARS?

Hello,
Fever is due to tonsillitis and quinsey(collection of pus in the tonsils).
You may need a throat swab culture and sensitivity.
If needed the pus in the tonsils has to be drained if large to control fever and myalgia.
Antibiotics needs to be chosen based on the reports and continued for a longer period.
