Developed Cyst On Right Side. Oozed Pus After Squeezing It. Now Another One Appeared On The Left. Conservative Management Available?
Hello Doctor,
I developed a cyst just below the skin of my cheek on the right side almost 1.5 yrs ago, i assumed it to be a persistent deeply seated boil initially hence tried to squeeze it out also a few times, the result was the excretion of small amount of pus, but then i realized that it was a cyst, and then during January of this year i developed another one on the left cheek, so i would like to know if there is any conservative management available for this cause i really don't want to go for an invasive procedure.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
It is a bad idea to ooze out the cyst in home without any physician guidance, apart from the danger of a permanent scar there is also a risk of incomplete drainage and chances of dissemination of pus. Please see a physician for proper incision and drainage.
Coming to conservative management part, you can take oral antibiotics like XXXX BD for 5 days, and apply warm compresses over the cyst.
