Developing Tennis Elbow, Loose Motion. Possibility Of Early Arthritis. MRI Done. What Is It?

I was going to the gym on a regular bassis and I was thinking I was developing tennis elbow so I stopped working out for it to heal. Slowly I seem to be loosing range of motion in my elbows. I cannot touch my elbows i lost more bi lateral movement in my dominent elbow, also they do seem to crack every so often. I have seen a doctor and said it maybe an early of athritus but I am still waiting on an MRI scan this December to figure out what it could be. Im 34 years old never had any major accidents, though I have strained my triceps a few times where I cant bend my arm totally, But the last time that happend was well before the my fore arm. Any clue?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I carefully red your history given here I could say from this that it may be tennis elbow until and unless it proves something else and for that Imaging study would be required and as you said it here it is all due, so at this stage we can labeled it as tennis elbow and for symptomatic relief you can have analgesic with resting your elbows in slings, bilat. tennis elbows is very rare condition but not uncommon , have good day.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Vaibhav Gandhi's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.
As per you symptoms there can be rheumatoid arthritis.
I will advise to do blood test along with MRI.

If RA is confirmed you may need specific medication.
NSAIDS AND DMRDS will help.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
