Diabetes. On Minidab And Diovan. Done Blood Test. Have Side Effects. COntinue?

I am Type 2 diabetes and have been taking Minidiab tablets but last week the Phamarcy I go to gave me a box marked Minidiab but it was after the 4th day I realised that it wasn't minidiab I got. But I took them back. I have been having some side effects and am seeing my doctor in 2 days time.

I am pretty sure it was DIOVAN - 5mg.

So I am trying to find what it may have done to me. I am going to ask for a full blood test as well.
What do you think.
Funny, I am Samuel too but my sirname is also Samuel, special from where I am from.

Thanks

Hello, Samuel.
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Minidiab is anti-diabetic drug having glipizide salt.
While DIOVAN 5 mg as you mentioned in your query contains a salt namely VATSARTAN.
In your query you mentioned a 5 mg ,while the dose of valsartan is 80-160 mg so this not possible for a patient to take 20-30 tablets.
So please make sure what was it .

Without exact knowledge ,how it is possible to say something.
Hope I have answered your query.
Good luck.
