Diabetes, Feels Thirsty, Urinates At Least 4 Times Every Hour

My nephew is 8 years old, He is thirsty all the time, urinates at least 4 times every hour, and he s tired all the time. While the other kids are out playing he wants to sleep . His doctor did blood tests and ruled out diabetes , but I m just not convinced. They say it s in his mind and he should see a phsycologist. I think they are missing something, and it is a medical condition...We are very worried and would appreciate any advice.

Diabetologist 's  Response
DEAR SIR/MADAM

YOUNG DIABETIC PATIENT WITH FREQUENT URINATION, IS DEFINITELY NOT DUE TO DIABETES, HE MIGHT BE HAVING SOME OTHER RENAL PATHOLOGY. I RECOMMEND YOU TO CONSULT NEPHROLOGIST. ROUTINE URINE EXAMINATION MAY REVEAL A LOT OF DETAILS.
