General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
A diabetic and a hypertensive person developing swelling in feet gives a strong suspicion of congestive heart failure.
Although there can be other reasons for swelling in his feet like kidney malfunction, liver condition, anaemia with hypoprotenemia,he should be examined and properly examined by a cardiologist to find the exact cause.
Medication and treatment would depend upon finding the cause.
Thanks

DEAR SIR/MADAM

WELCOME TO HEALTH CARE MAGIC

USUALLY THE REASONS FOR SWELLING IN THE DEPENDENT PARTS OF THE BODY LIKE BILATERAL LIMBS MIGHT BE DUE TO
1. UNCONTROLLED HYPERTENSION
2. ANEMIA WITH HYPOPROTIENEMIA
3. CARDIAC FAILURE
4. MEDICAL RENAL DISEASE

INVESTIGATE FOR IT. PROTEIN ESTIMATION, SERUM CREATININE LEVELS AND REVIEW WITH IT.
