Diabetic. Sore Throat, Difficulty Swallowing, Red Bumps At The Back Of Tongue. Possible Strep Throat?
Hi I'm 20 years old and IV been type 1 diabetic since I was 9. I've had a sore throat for about 3 weeks and just recently got really bad where it just hurts to swallow period. I see and felt red bumps at very back of tongue could this be strep throat? I went yo a doctor but since I have no insurance I didn't get a strep screen.
HAI Thanks for visiting healcaremagic sINCE you are type 1 diabetic the chances of getting oral candidiasis should be ruled out.Initially you can take anti biotics and then decide.
