Nephrologist 's  Response
HI
Thanks for your query.

Cystitis is an infection of the bladder. I would recommend a urine R&M and urine culture to confirm if you have a UTI and prescribe the appropriate antibiotics.

It is usually a curable condition. So it should not affect your married life. I would advise you to abstain from sexual intercourse till the infection is cured.

It is unusual for a male to get cystitis. So please see a physician who can advise further diagnostic tests.

Hope this helps
Good luck.
