Diagnosed Of Tumor. Bladder Pain And Bleeding. CT Scan Done. Possible Co-existence Of Bladder Stone, Tumor?
I have pain and bleeding in my bladder. I had a ct scan and was told I had a tumor . I am waiting for my appointment with a urologist . I was also told I had shadowing on the scan that was possible bladder stone . Is it possible to have both at the same time? The pain and blood comes and goes. It is usually worst when I have been walking alot.
Hi,there is a possibility for a stone and bladder tumour to present together.a long standing stone could very well be a predisposing factor for bladder tumour as it causes chronic irritation of the bladder mucosa.as you have planned an urologist needs to seen. he might advice you to do an cystoscopy so that the stone can be removed with the aid of cystoscopy and an biopsy from the bladder growth can be taken.your further treatment depends upon the biopsy report and the depth of infiltration of the growth into the bladder and surrounding structures.before cystoscopy is done you will be asked to do a urine culture sensitivity .wish you good health.
