Diagnosed Pilonidal Abscess, Due For Surgery In 2 Weeks. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Surgery Adviced In Case Of Possible Pregnancy?
Hi. I am 25 years old. I am planning to have a baby with my husband. I am diagnosed with pilonidal abcess. I just got an appointment letter from the hospital to get a surgery in 2 weeks. But i havent been using protection and i am not sure if i am pregnant or not. What will happen when i get the surgery, if i am pregnant 2 or 3 weeks ?

usually during the first trimster of prgnancy all the major surgeries are postponed unless it is an emergency and life threatening. people who are more panic and anxiety like you. So first you have to do urine pregnancy test and decide for pilonidal abscess which can be drained by local , a temporary procedure.
