I had my son 11 months ago he was diagnosed with coraction of the aaorta. After he was born i bled for 6 months straight. Not on birth control. Ever since its been off and on. Brown. Red. Bleeding. And recently it stopped took teat to see if i was pregnant. Im not. Wierd vaginal discharge snot like creamy white. No smell. Naseau headaches. Lost alot of weight. Unexplained. Alot of cramping. Been told ive had a small cyst on my right ovary. They said it was from pregnancy. Nothing to worry about. Can u give some awnsers on to why thos is going on?
The uterus increases to about ten times in size during pregnancy. It takes about 4 to 6 months for it to return to the normal size. Thus, during this time it is possible that the person bleeds continuously from the vagina. Also, since your doctor said its normal I do not think there is anything to be alarmed about. You should get your hemoglobin level checked once to see what it is at.
And while doing that, start taking iron pills so that you are able to recover or prevent any loss of iron that may occur from bleeding. Do not be alarmed, If you are not bleeding now, then there is unlikely to be any pathogenesis.
Also, Coarctation of aorta causes some pathology but it does not cause what you have described. However, you should get your son the appropriate treatment needed and get him to meet a cardiovascular thoracic surgeon.
