Diagnosed With PCOS. Having Irregular Menstruation And Facial Hair. Taking Hyponid And M2tone. Does It Have Any Side Effects?
Hi ........ I was diagnosed of PCO 4yrs ago. Trying for five years now.Having irregular menstruation, facial hair. My doc gave clomid but it didn't work. Now I'm currently on Hyponid( twice a day) and M2 tone (two tab twice a day) for a month now but still no menstruation, I'm still having facial hair with little pimples. Please advise ♍ε if I should continue. Does hyponid and M2 tone have side effects as I'm already putting on a lot of weight. Thanks

Hyponidd & M 2 tone tablets will work or not I can't say as till there is no any scientific proof available.
Clomid ( clomifene ) act in PCOD .
Now I will try to explain about the symptoms of PCOD as ,
1 Acne & hirsutism,
2 weight pain and obesity,
3 Androgen excess,
4 Atretric changes in the ovarian stroma in ultrasound.
5 Alteration ratio of L H/ FSH
6 Dysfunctional uterine bleeding, irregular bleeding, or amenorrhea.
As in your case there is acne ( pimples ) and weight gain , so I doubt , hyponidd will act .
Facial hairs are due to elevation in the level of androgen ( testosterone ) , you can confirm this by blood test .
In my opinion please consult a gynaecologist and get his advice and deal accordingly.
