Diagnosed With Adenocarcinoma Of Uterus. Any Specific Diet Recommendation Before Surgery ?

Hi. I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of uterus, at least grade 2 3 days ago. I dont know when the hysterectomy will be yet. I would like to know if you recommend a certain type of diet or exercise routine until this happen. I weigh 246 and would like to lose weight before the surgery. Is it healthy to diet before a hysterectomy?

Hi,

The most important thing to be done before a surgery is to control your hypertension and the blood sugar levels. These 2 are probably the most important risk factors.

I dont think you need to lose weight before the surgery because postponing the surgery is of no use. The best is for you to get the surgery as soon as possible to prevent the spread of cancer.

Post surgery you can get into an exercise program to help you lose as much weight as possible. I hope this helps you. Best of luck.
