Diagnosed With Cylindrical Power. How To Confirm If Test Is True ?
Hi Doctor,
My 3 yeas old kid is recently diagnosed with Cylindrical power. My question is how does it get detected or should I rely on the test done by technician. Because initially my son was not reading and then they tried checking power by making him read letters of different sizes. After all these, when he removed that he could read properly and pretty fast with his bare eyes which he was struggling to read with lenses.
My first ques is cant the reading or finding be wrong?

Hi, my question is why did you take the 3 year old kid to an ophthalmic technician. to be frank take the kid to an ophthalmic surgeon, him self by doing optimetry and retinal study, will reveal the problem.
