Diagnosed With Diabetes. Taking Januvia . Does This Cause Pancreatic Cancer?
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and given januvia 50 mg. A1c 8.4. My blood sugar was 263 at time of diagnoses and since then has been well within the pararmeters of normal. I was perusing the internet on being able to take advil and januvia and came across articles on januvia and pancreatic cancer. I am now terrified to take although I do know there are risks with all medications, but most of what I read is not comforting.
sitagliptine in recent trend is associated with pancreatic cancer. a lot of researches are going on . if u r a lot of afraid then it is better to switch on sulfonylureas and biguinides witch r recommended from many years.so take a decision and talk to your doctor regarding this. thanks.
