Hi,
It may be due to PCOD wihic is usually associated with insulin resistance and hence diabetes. But the delay in period need to be investigated using ultrasonically and pelvic examination and also may require blood HCG level. Without testing we cant tell whether you have PCOD or it is due to diabetes. SO I advice you to consult your doctor once for examination and get done preliminary investigations which help us to diagnose your problem.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
