My husband was diagnosed with farmers lung 9 years ago, He is only in the barn for maybe 30 minutes a day but reacts as soon as he enters the barn. He calms down about 10 minutes after leaving. Short of not ever stepping foot in the barn again, what help is there for him?. His symptoms are getting worse as far as coughing all the time, shortness of breath, he is morbidly obese, and head sweating especially at night. He has a Dr. apt but not until Aug 28th. I want him to see a specialist but don't if it should be a lung specialist, ear, nose andthroat or allergist?
