Diagnosed With Fibromyalgia, Have High BP, Anxiety, Depression. High WBC, Chronic Inflammation, Vitamin Deficiency. Why?

ok been diagnosed with fibromyalgia over a year ago I have high bp and anxiety and depression. about a month ago my regular Dr noticed that I had several lab test done with high wbc. sent me to a hematologist who tested for chronic inflammation vitamin deficiency ect and my wbc came back at 17.8 still high told me to come back in two months to see if it is the same or higher or lower. My question is if its still around the same what could it be and what if its higher then what am I looking at?

Hi and thanks for the query,
High inflammation, certainly with a high erythrocyte sedimentation rate is not rare with fibromyalgia. It is not uncommon to have raised white blood cells. I however suggest a reevaluation by your internist. It might be interesting to know if you are being followed up, or have ever been consulted by a psychiatrist. However, an initial evaluation by an internist , in my opi nion, would be most welcome as an initial step. Kind regards
