Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 34 and have just been diagnosed with hypertension. I went to ER with 220/130. I have no risk factors and am generally healthy. This past two months I am feeling sick every day. All my labs are coming back normal and I am not sure what to do next.
Hi, I read your query and understood your concern. I recommend to start first the treatment for stabilizing your B.P than doing all the necessary exams to rule out all the possible causes of hypertension. Please bear in mind that 98% of hypertension is essential (without a cause). I recommend to do heart ECHO, abdominal Echo and 24 hour BP monitoring for proper evaluation of hypertension. Hope i answered to your question. Dr. Benard
