Diagnosed With Hyperthyroid. Prescribed Atenolo, Lorazepam For Racy Heart, Anxiety Attacks. Safe To Take Both At Same Time?
Hi..i have just been diagnosed with hyper thyroid...my doctor prescribed me atenolol 25mg for a racy heart and .5mg of lorazepam for my anxiety attacks...my dr. told me to take the atenolol at night because she said our hearts tend to beat faster at night...but most of my anxiety attacks happen at night as well. My question is ...is it safe to take both of these medications at the same time? or if not how far apart should i take them from one another. Thank you!
Hi, There is no problem taking both tablets at night. Take each tablet keeping about one hour gap to get its best action. Ok and take care.
