Diagnosed With Irritation Of Semintendinosis/pes Ansirine Area After Trying To Pivot With Little Relief From Nsaid And Rest?

I pivoted (toe planted, heel moved outward), and felt discomfort on the inside of my knee and couldn't extend it fully or bear weight on it. It got a bit better with NSAIDs and rest today, but is now back. 10 days ago after a deep tissue massage, I was diagnosed with an irritation of semintendinosis/pes ansirine area (the tendon was catching), but, by ultrasound, the bursa was not inflammed. Am really hoping this is not a meniscal tear.

Hi
After going through your query, the meniscus tear can be ruled out if you are able to do squatting with feet in inward (first time)and outward position(second time).
Regarding pain at knee my advice would be do hot fomentation and a few day course of cortisone will help.
Take care and if you have any doubt don't hesitate,i shall be glad to help you.
