Diagnsoed Hypothyrodism. Ultrasound Shows Hetrogeneous Small Thyroid Gland Without Discrete Dominant Mass. Explain

I just got the ultrasound back on my thyroid. I have hypothyroidism. My sister and my grandmother had thyroid cancer.
The results say findings;
Ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland shows a small thyroid gland with heterogeneous parenchyma. There are vague nodular densities, with poor boundaries, in both lobes of the thyroid gland, these are not discrete masses and none greater than 1 cm. No dominant mass or cyst.
iMPRESSION;
1. Heterogeneous small thyroid gland without discrete dominant mass.
My doctor is out of town for a couple of weeks, so I am nxious to know what this could mean. Iam very happy there is no dominant mass

You are suffering from Hypothyoidism. Scan reveals that you have Heterogeneous small thyroid gland without discrete dominant mass, with vague nodular densities, with poor boundaries, in both lobes of the thyroid gland, these are not discrete masses and none greater than 1 cm. No dominant mass or cyst.
This may be due to auto immune disease of thyroid or previous thyroiditis. It is composed of dissimilar tissues on the thyroid..
The nodules are usually benign in nature (not cancer).
Treat Hypothyroid and observe the nodules. If it increases in size or even otherwise a biopsy is advised
