Diarrhea. Diagnosed With Bacterial Infection. Help
My 20 year old son has a very bad case of diarrhea - that has gotten progressively worse over the course of a year - which I did not know about - he is having issues at work - I only knew about the days he spent at home because of it. He was just diagnosed as having a bacteria, not sure which one, but they said it was very hard to get rid of - he is well on the way to loosing his job it is so bad. Nobody has really given us anything for it and he goes back in on Thursday and in the meantime - he spends the nights on the toilet and part of the day too.
Hi, It seems that he might be having IBS or some chronic gadtro-intestinal infection. Go for stool test and culture sensitivity test to find out causative bacteria and specific antibiotic medicine working against it. After report go for specific antibiotic medicine course for long time. Consult gastro-enterologist and get examined. Avoid fried, chillies and junk food. Ok and take care.
