Diarrhea And Hot Sweats. What Kind Of Food Can I Take?

I have had diarrhoea 2 days ago, with feeling of sickness and hot sweats, today - day 3, feeling a bit better. I have had toast and bananas for last few days and wondered should I have something better for dinner tonight. I dont want to rush into eating too much because I dont want to make myself worse. Is porridge OK or should I opt for toast and banana again? Thank you

Hello,
You should eat plain, simple foods for diarrhea.
It is best to eat thicker, bland foods, including oatmeal, bananas, plain rice, and applesauce.

Other bland foods that you’re likely to tolerate include:
Boiled potatoes
Toast
Baked chicken without any skin or fat
Have probiotics.Foods having probiotics may shorten the duration of a bout of diarrhea. Probiotics have become very popular and can be found in a number of foods including yogurt.

For hydration take more of fluids like coconut water.
Take lemon with water with pinch of salt and sugar.

Avoid foods like
Fatty and fried foods
Gas producing foods like beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower etc.
Avoid sweetened beverages.
thanks
