Hi,
Thanks for using the HCM. I am happy to address your questions, Racecadotril , an enkephalinase inhibitor with antisecretory and antidiarrheal actions, is an effective and safe treatment for acute diarrhea in children, saccharomyces boulardii is called a "probiotic," a friendly organism that helps to fight off disease-causing organisms in the gut is also used for treating and preventing diarrhoea and Zinconia (zinc acetate) helps to reduce recovery time in diarrhea. All of these can be given to your child along with Oral rehydration solution, but if the symptoms do not improve or there is aggravation due to the infection yet in the gut, then will recommend to kindly consult your physician accordingly. Thanks
