Did A Procedure To Reduce The Size Of Testicle. Still Bleeding. Cure For Symptoms?
3 weeks I had a procedure to reduce the size of my right testicle. I am still bleeding and draining and at times I have extreem pain. I have been happy with my uroigists up to now but I have had major surgery and recovered in 48 hours and never missed so much time at work. I'm living on pain meds to get by and I'm at my witts end, even my PCP is to busy to get involved/ Help!
Hi I am sorry for your condition. What was the indication for surgery? Testis cannot be reduced in size. Hydrocele is collection of fluid around testis which looks like testicular enlargement. Any procedure done on the testis will have some bleeding and it will be drained through drain. It will be stopped after few days. But,if there is bleeding even 3 weeks after surgery,it should be taken seriously. I did many surgeries on scrotum in relation to testis. I prefer to open the suture site and explore the operated area. Most probably, there will be a active bleeding point which is bleeding continuously. Once it is sutured or cauterised, the active bleeding will stop. Hence,i request you to ask your surgeon to explore and correct the bleeding point immediately. Wish you speedy recovery Regards
