Difficulty In Getting Satisfying Breath, Feels Like Something In Throat. Normal X Rays. Cause?
Ok so for a little over two year I have been having this problem where it feels like its hard to get a good satisfying breath. I have went to the emergency room because sometimes it is worse than others. It comes as goes, sometimes lasting an hour to a couple weeks. When I went to the hospital they did chest X-rays and a breathing test, everything was normal. Also when I do physical activities now I get winded real easy or atleast I feel that way. It kind of feels like it's just on my right side like there is pressure and I always feel like there's something in my throat. What could this be? - roger
Even if X rays are normal, I would suggest you consult an ear nose throat surgeon for your problem. An indirect laryngoscopy examination will reveal if there is any small problem in the throat and vocal cords. Many times, there is swelling of the upper airway due to exposure to allergic substances and this may cause laryngeal edema which leads to breathing difficulty.
