Difficulty In Swallowing Food, Water, Unable To Breath, Getting Chocked, Vomiting. Possible Reason?

I some times have trouble swallowing food and water its like it gets stuck and just won't go all the way down and I can't breathe while this is happening or I'll choke and I end up vomiting. I try to drink water and it won't go down either there have been times when this happens that I feel I could drown in 1/4 cup of water and its very scary. this has been going on for years but seems to be more frequent. I mentioned it to a doctor once when it first started and she told me I was eating too fast. I don't think I do. what could this be?

This might be due to the narrowing of the passage/lumen of your gut.I suggest you to get a upper GI Endoscopy done from a gastroenterologist. Hope this helps.Take care.
