Discharge From Urethra. Had Bladder Infection, Finished With Menopause. Any Ideas?

Hello, I am female, 53 years old, experiencing a discharge from my urethra which is sometimes brownish and sometimes greenish/yellow, resembling mucous. This has been going on for about 6 weeks and I have been treated twice for a bladder infection. However, this is unlike any bladder infection I have ever had. I don't have the pressure and urge to pee, then can't. I can urinate like normal, I just have this discharge. I am pretty much finished with menopause, going about 2 years without a period. I have been married 31 years and am monogamous. What could be causing this problem?

Hello.Urethral secretion is a sign of infection of the urethra(the tube that connects the bladder to the outside to urinate).Differents bacterias can cause urethral infection (gonorrhea, chlamydia).Your doctor should take a sample of your secrecccion urethral to analyze and prescribe empirical antibiotic treatment before knowing the results of the analysis.I wish you good health.
