General & Family Physician, Dr. Swaroop N's Response
Hello Jorge,
STD's are transmitted through unprotected sexual contact with a person who already has STD. If there is no such contact then a chance of an STD is ruled out. Discharge could be a normal phenomemon which sometimed happens due to hormonal imbalance. It generally resolves withinn a ffew days. Stay calm and relaxed since mental stress can aggravate the condition. If the symptoms doesn't subside withion 3-5 days then please consult a gyneacologist for complete evaluation. Wish you good health.
