Discovered An Indentation On Head Toward Back, On Pushing Experiencing Dizziness And Headache . What Is The Problem ?

I recently discovered an indentation on the top of my head toward the back. It is quite large and deep and is tender to the touch. If I push on it I become dizzy and get an instant headache. I don t believe I suffered any head trauma and otherwise feel fine. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Usually it is normal to have some indentations over head. They do not cause any problem.

But in your case it large, tender and causing headache/dizziness on pressure. So it is better to get it examined by neurologist. You may also need some imaging study like CT or MRI to know the extent of indentation.

Wish you good health and all the best.
