hello, for the past week I ve been feeling really dizzy and fevered and my neck has been really sore along with my back . and I ve been having really bad headaches , and it feels almost as if my head is swollen like the pain . and I ve noticed I have a huge lump on the top of my head it s painful and soft and hurts really bad. what could this be ?
Hello,
You are presenting with signs of infection (dizziness, fever, headaches) which in your case could be due to an abscess (painful lump on the top of your head) or throat infection/ pharyngitis (sore throat). You could take some antibiotics like cloxacilln or oxacillin or antistaphylococci antibiotics plus pain killers/antiinflammatory to alleviate and treat the problem. But I will prefer that you need your doctor so he can properly examine the lump, throat and run some test to rule out possible differential diagnosis like dengue fever, malaria, typhoid fever, urinary tract infection etc A throat swap might need to be done to confirm the throat infection. Any case, the source of the infection needs to be identified and treated accordingly.
Wish you the best
