Do Cephalexin Causes Vaginal Bleeding?

Excuse me, I m on contraception pills (Yasmin ) , I took a dose of cephalexin then I develop brownish vaginal discharge like what I have at beging of my period, I m still on contraception pills day 17 , I m worried of getting vaginal bleeding!! Is this related to cephalexin I took??

Hello.Cephalexin intake is not related to vaginal bleeding.If you have vaginal brownish discharge,the most likely diagnosis is bacterial vaginal infection
Go to your doctor, he will collect a sample of your vaginal secretion and will prescribe an antibiotic to treat your infection.
