Do I Have A Vaginal Cut If I See Pink Discharge A Few Days My Periods?
Do I have a vaginal cut or not? A day or two before my period started I noticed a little bit of red/pink discharge. I had been wearing a menstrual cup so I’m not sure if because of that it had stretched and possibly made a small tear or if it was just a bit of blood from my period before it had really started. Do I have a vaginal cut and would it be safe to wear a menstrual cup? Or should I wait a week for the potential cut to heal to prevent possible infection.
Since you have a cut, avoid wearing menstrual cup. You are sensitive to vaginal cups; you can use some other device. The other side effects are injuries, allergies, urinary problem, infection, vaginal irritation, TSS (toxic shock syndrome). Apply ointment Soframycin on the affected area for relieve. Avoid any sexual activity for a couple of days. Take care of your hygiene so that the wound does not get infected. Do not touch or scratch. Do not use sex toys, do not douche your vagina. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
