Hello,

Your symptoms may be indicative of mild pleural effusion. It commonly occurs due to Infections like pneumonia or tuberculosis. Other medical condition that may also cause such symptoms are heart failure, kidney disease or certain cancers. You are advised to get imaging tests, like ultrasound, or CT scan done so that the cause of symptoms can be confirmed & treatment started at the earliest.

Yes, you need to get clinically examined and treated at the earliest. Your treatment will depend on the pathology diagnosed and the severity of the symptoms. You will be first given conservative treatment but if required you may be given invasive treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
