Do I Need To Follow A Specific Diet After Having A Stent Put In Esophagus, Post Barretts Esophagus Surgery?
I had a stent put in last thursday1/9/14 my esophagus after I had barretts esophagus surgry done on dec13 to open it up woundring what to eat. I no this well take time to heal but I tried a back potato with lots off butter but did not go down well im stell in pain but have meds for that need some kind off diet to fallow can you help. if not I no ican call my doctor. they have told me creamed soups ice cream thought u might be able to help me a little more. thanks

Hi. After the esophageal stent is put in you need to take liquids only in the beginning. Yes you should consult your Doctor as he only is in a position to know which stent has he put in and what diet is required. Please do not try what others say.
