Do I Need To Visit A Doctor For Subtle Ear Pain And Sore Throat?

I have had a small Bump on my pharyngopalentine arch (I think) for a couple months. It hasn’t changed in size. But it is irritating every now and then. Occasional VERY subtle ear pain and sore throat. Just want to know if i need To go see a doctor for examination.

Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
A short course of antibiotics can be considered.
Do warm saline gargles also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
