Do Klonopin And Depakote Cause One Sided Headache?
I am suffering from bad headaches only on the left side of my head, and since the headaches, I also have been losing my balance falling only to the right side each time. I take Klonopin, depakote,Effexor 375 mg per day. I suffer from brain damage from PTSD due to injuries sustained during active military service. I have been seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist regularly. I m not sure if all this is from the medication or if it is something more serious. Thank You.
Ataxia (losing balance ) & headache(generalized) can be caused by divalproex as side effects.
MRI brain is justified as headache is unilateral (left side) and falling to right side (? motor weakness right half of body), to exclude lesion in left cerebrum.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
